Linden County Water District
PUBLIC WORKSHOP - OCTOBER 1st @ 6 p.m.
LCWD is currently reviewing a cost of service fee study for water and wastewater services and corresponding rate adjustments. The District`s primary income source comes from monthly water and sewer service fees, which are used to fund the overall operations and maintenance of the water and wastewater systems, as well as rehabilitation and improvement of the District`s water and wastewater infrastructure. LCWD encourages customers to get involved in the cost of service study by participating in our Zoom public workshop on October 1, 2020 at 6 p.m. Click on the Rates & Policies tab for more information.

SUSTAINABLE GROUNDWATER MANAGEMENT
The Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) requires local governments and water agencies of high priority groundwater basins to prepare Groundwater Sustainability Plans (GSPs) by 2020 in order to reach sustainability by 2040. Linden County Water District has partnered with 16 other local water agencies to establish the Eastern San Joaquin Groundwater Authority (ESJGWA) for the purpose of coordinating groundwater management in the Eastern San Joaquin groundwater basin. LCWD has been holding quarterly public meetings to keep constituents apprised of the progress toward completion of the GSP. The District hopes that you will take the opportunity to learn about our efforts to make groundwater a dependable and high quality resource for the foreseeable future. We welcome your input and participation in this vital process. For more information click on the links below or visit www.esjgroundwater.org.
