Past Due and Water Service Termination / Reinstatement Policy |
Monthly water service statements are mailed at the beginning of each month for the prior month`s usage. A period of 25 days is allowed for payments to be received and posted to your account. If payment for the full balance due is not received by the 24th of the month, it may not be posted in time for the current month`s billing and it is considered Past Due and may be charged a $10 Late Fee.
If your account is not Paid in Full within sixty (60) days after the statement date, you will receive a notice that your water is in jeopardy of being Shut Off after 7 business days if payment is not received before then.
In the event water service is terminated, a payment of all water charges and fees, plus a $50.00 Turn-on Fee and a `Good Faith` Deposit of $100 will be required to restore water service to the property. The deposit will be refunded to you after twelve continuous months of timely payments.
If you are financially unable to pay the full amount, we offer a Payment Plan to pay your past due balance over time and avoid late charges and discontinuation of service. If you wish to make this arrangement you must contact the office. If you want to dispute the amount of your bill, please get in touch with us right away so we can resolve any discrepancies.
