Rates & Policies
WATER MEASUREMENT:

The basic rate of 400 cubic feet equals 2,992 gallons of water, which equals to nearly 100 gallons of water per day based on a 30 day month.

WATER RATES:

Basic Rate - the minimum rate is $30.00 per month, which includes up to 400 cubic feet (2992 Gallons)
Tier One: 401 - 800 cubic feet, the additional charge is $4.00 per 100 cubic feet.
Tier Two: 801 - 2000 cubic feet, the additional charge is $5.00 per 100 cubic feet.
Tier Three: 2001 or more cubic feet, the additional charge is $10.00 per 100 cubic feet.

STANDBY FEE:

All unmetered lots are charged an annual fee of $50.00 This fee is billed no later than January 1st of each year.

NEW METER FEE:

The fee for the installation of a new meter is $600.00

SERVICE FEES:

Water Service Deposit $100.00

The deposit will be returned to the home buyer after one year in good standing.
The tenant`s deposit will be returned to tenant when rental is vacated providing account is current.

RETURNED CHECKS:

In addition to the service charges made by the bank, a $19.00 handling fee will be added for each returned check.

REINSTATEMENT:

In the even water service is terminated, a payment of all fees due, a $50.00 turn-on fee and `good faith deposit will be required to restore water service to the property. A `good faith` deposit will be equal to average of six month`s water bill and returned upon twelve continuous months of timely payments.

REPAIR/SERVICE FEES:

Any water problems caused by construction, digging, pipe breaks, etc. between the water meter and your home is the property owner`s responsibility. If the Watermaster responds to a call and finds this type of problem, there is a $10.00 call out fee as well as a $20.00/hour labor charge, furthermore if the problem causes damage to water department equipment, a charge for repair parts will be included in the bill.
